The San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band’s premiere gala concert event, Spotlight returns after a three year hiatus.
Spotlight on Hollywood will celebrate the glitz and grandeur of the silver screen by featuring music from classic films, including Jurassic Park, Aladdin, The Wizard of Oz, Purlie, West Side Story, and many more!
Under the baton of guest Artistic Director Dee Spencer, and alongside returning emcee “Queen of the Castro” Donna Sachet, the Official Band of San Francisco will light up Yerba Buena Center for the Arts!
The Band is excited to announce the legendary Renée Lubin, of Beach Blanket Babylon fame, will join the festivities as a featured performer!
Spotlight on Hollywood will feature an exciting assortment of live and silent auction prizes, which will help support the Band’s continuing mission as the first openly gay musical organization in the world. As the Band’s most important fundraiser event of the year, we hope to see you on June 11th!
