Sleeping Beauty returns to Panto in the Presidio this holiday season after a sold-out final week last year. Directed by Liam Vincent, choreography by Stacey Printz, and musical direction by Bill Keck.
Panto in the Presidio is a uniquely San Franciscan twist on the most popular form of theatre in the world. British holiday pantomimes, more commonly known as pantos, are live performances featuring parodies of popular children’s stories and folklore. Although panto started in England, today millions of people flock to them across the globe.

Deemed "San Francisco's resident Diva" and "local treasure" by SF Chronicle, Renée holds the record for the longest-running performer in a musical review after 33 years with Beach Blanket Babylon. joins us for the third year in a row, accompanied by jazz pianist Dee Spencer, for what is sure to be a quickly sold-out performance.
RENÉE LUBIN is “ San Francisco’s resident Diva” as noted by the SF Chronicle. She holds the record as the longest running performer in a Musical Revue for her 34 year run with Beach Blanket Babylon. A San Francisco native, she has appeared at Feinstein’s at the Nikko and sellout performances at the Black Cat and most recently Handwritten winery here in the Napa Valley where she now makes her home.

Women in Jazz & World Music
A Vocal Training Course Led by Prof. Dee Spencer.
Women in Jazz and World Music (WJWM) is a month long, twice weekly course for high school students ages 15 – 18 years who have an aptitude for singing and who want to develop better techniques and understanding to further their abilities as vocalists.
Festivities included: Cocktails, Dinner, Dancing, Silent Auction, Live Auction

Free to the public, the Night of ideas takes place from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. with programming on all seven floors of the Main Library.
